These people WILL destroy your business if you let them…
This is something I get asked about a lot.
“How can I spot problem customers before they cause problems?”
And the answer is… there is no foolproof answer.
Bad customers come in every shape and size, and you’ll never be able to repel all of them.
That said, there are a lot of similarities. This week, I’m going to focus on the top 5 tip offs that someone is going to be a problem.
Starting with…
What’s your refund policy?
This seems like an innocent enough question at first. And sometimes it is.
But if you’re following my advice, you’ve already made your refund/cancellation policy very clear. You’re not trying to hide it in fine print. Not trying to “get away” with something.
It’s right there for everyone to see.
So why are people still asking you about it?
Because they ask EVERYONE they buy from about it.
Why would they do this?
Because they plan to ask for a refund!
Maybe they just want to collect your “free” bonus materials.
Maybe they want to download all your paid content before getting their money back.
Maybe they want to use your refund policy as a trial period. (Why I warn against using the word “trial” unless it’s really a trial.)
Maybe they’re just indecisive.
But bottom line, if they ask about refund policies, they’re likely to later USE that refund policy.
This becomes even more certain when they ask any follow up questions about the refund policy?
“So if I cancel on the 29th day I still get all my money back?”
“Is it prorated after that?”
And so on.
These people will bleed your business dry, and waste your people’s time in the process.
Do what you can to drive them out of your business and your life for good.
